Yoga class sign-up

Yogis reserve a spot on the lawn, and the teacher knows who's new and who needs a mat.

What's inside

Each evening holds 30 people and shows what's left; yogis with something to mention write it to the teacher in their own words, and everyone else skips the question.

Teaching yoga outdoors

Thirty mats fit a lawn about the size of a tennis court with room to walk between rows. Change each evening's limit to your space.

Count the mat loans the morning of the class and pack that many plus two. People forget their own more often than they ask to borrow.

The practice answer shapes the class. With several brand-new yogis, cue each pose from the feet up and offer a seated option.

Never ask for diagnoses. A free-text note lets someone mention an injury or a pregnancy if they choose, and nobody has to explain a no.

Yoga class sign-up questions

Can people book more than one evening?

Each reply holds one evening. People who want two dates send the form twice, which keeps the count per evening exact. To give more people a turn, ask regulars in the intro to book one evening at a time and book the next once the first has passed. If someone can't come, delete their reply so the place opens for someone else.

How do I handle donations or a class fee?

Write the suggested donation or price in the intro, with how to pay on the lawn or by link. Fillio doesn't collect payments. A suggested amount, such as 10 dollars, with a line that nobody is turned away, keeps the class open to everyone. For cash on the lawn, bring change, or print a sign with a QR code for your payment app.

What if it rains?

Put your rain plan in the intro, as the template does with the boathouse. Everyone left an email, so you can send a message an hour before class. Check that the indoor room fits as many mats as the lawn. If it only holds 20, lower that evening's limit when the forecast turns wet, so nobody arrives to a full room.
