Custom cake order form

Customers describe the cake, servings and date with a photo, so you can quote once.

What's inside

Customers who want writing on the cake are asked what it should say; the rest skip straight to the photo.

Quoting custom cakes in one message

Servings set the size and most of the price. A two-tier cake for 24 and a sheet cake for 50 are different quotes, and now you know which before you reply.

The inspiration photo saves a dozen messages about colors and piping. Customers upload it from their camera roll, as in any file upload form.

Ask for allergies on every order, even when the answer is none. Write it on the order ticket so it reaches whoever boxes the cake.

Put your notice period and deposit in the intro. Customers who read 7 days stop asking for cakes tomorrow.

Cake order form questions

Can customers pay a deposit in the form?

No. Send your quote with a payment link or bank details after you read the request. Fillio takes no payment and no fee, so the whole deposit is yours. Many bakers ask for 30 to 50 percent to hold the date and the rest at pickup. Add a note to the order in your dashboard once the deposit arrives, so you only bake for confirmed dates.

Can I add my own flavors and fillings?

Yes. Edit the flavor list, and add a fillings question if you offer them. Keep the list to what you actually bake this season. Flavors sit in a dropdown, so a longer list still looks tidy on a phone. If one runs out mid-season, delete it in the editor and the link you already shared keeps working.

How do I stop orders on fully booked weekends?

Set a response limit or a closing date in the form's settings, or say in the intro which dates are full. Reopen it when your calendar frees up. A limit suits holiday rushes. If you can bake 12 cakes before Christmas, set the limit to 12, and the form closes by itself when the twelfth order comes in.
