Selling out without overbaking

Pre-orders let you bake to the number. Fifty boxes ordered by Thursday means fifty boxes baked on Saturday, and nothing left on the shelf.

The box limit counts boxes, not orders. A customer who orders three takes three of the fifty.

Pickup windows spread the morning out. Fifteen customers an hour keeps the line short at a one-person shop window.

Share the link on Monday in your Instagram story and WhatsApp channel. Most micro bakeries sell out in a day once regulars know the rhythm.

Bakery pre-order questions

How do I reopen orders next week?

Duplicate the form for each week or clear the replies after Saturday. Duplicating keeps a record of every week's orders for your accounts. The copy starts at zero, so the 50 boxes and the 15 orders per pickup window are free again. Before you share it, update the dates in the intro, since the copy keeps last week's wording.

Can customers pay online?

They pick cash or card at pickup, or bank transfer. For transfers, text your details after the order. The form takes no payment, so you pay no fees on it. Ask transfer customers to put their name in the payment reference. When the money arrives, add a note to their order in your dashboard so pickup morning goes quickly.

Can I run it for a farmers market stall?

Yes. Change the pickup windows to your market hours and the boxes to what you sell. Customers collect at the stall instead of a shop window. Many stalls keep a few boxes back for walk-up buyers. If you bake 50, lower the box limit in the settings to 40 so ten stay on the table for people who stop by.
