Art commission request form
Clients describe the piece, style and deadline, with references, in one request.
What's inside
A client who picks Something else describes the idea; everyone uploads references and says how the piece will be used.

Quoting commissions without the back-and-forth
Subjects and style set most of your price. A fully painted piece with three people and a line-art bust are different weeks of work, and the request tells you which.
Ask for references every time. Three clear photos of a pet save an hour of guessing its markings.
Commercial use usually costs more than a personal piece. Asking up front avoids an awkward second invoice when the client mentions merch.
If you only take four commissions a month, say so in the intro and close the form in the settings when your slots are full.
Commission form questions
How do clients pay a deposit?
After you accept a request, send your quote with a payment link or invoice. The form takes no payment and Fillio takes no fee, so you keep the whole deposit. Many artists ask for half before the first sketch and the rest before the final file. Add a private note to the request in your dashboard once the deposit lands, so you can see who has paid when you plan the month.
Can I put it in my portfolio or link in bio?
Yes. Share the link anywhere, or embed the form on your portfolio site. Clients fill it in from their phone without an account. Pin the link in your social bio on the day commissions open. Each request arrives with its reference images attached, so you read the whole brief in one place in your dashboard instead of scrolling back through DMs.
How do I pause commissions?
Close the form in its settings or set a closing date. Visitors then see that commissions are closed, and your inbox stays quiet until you reopen it. A short window works well for busy months. Open on the first, close on the third, and quote the requests in the order they came in. You can also cap the form at four responses so it shuts by itself.
