Swim lesson registration

Parents register a child in their level's session, and every group caps at five.

What's inside

Each session holds five swimmers and shows what's left; children in the first level get one extra question about water on the face, and the form closes when all sessions are full.

Filling swim lessons by level

Describe each level by what the child can do, like floats and kicks on their own. Parents choose correctly when they don't have to guess what Level 2 means.

Five children per instructor is a common limit for beginners. Change the places per session to your pool and staff.

The water-on-the-face answer is the first thing an instructor needs. A child who gets upset starts with pouring cups and bubbles, not floats.

Open sessions six weeks before summer and send the link to last year's families first. Popular morning sessions fill in days.

Swim lesson registration questions

Can a parent register two children?

This form takes one child per reply, so each child gets their own level and session. Parents send it again for a sibling. Siblings at different levels often need different groups anyway, so parents can pick times next to each other, like 9 am for one and 10 am for the other. With only five places per session, ask parents to book both children in one sitting.

What if a child is in the wrong level?

Instructors move them on day one if needed. Keep a few places open in each level for those moves rather than filling every session to five. When a child moves, edit their level in the responses so your lists match the groups in the pool, and tell the parent at pick-up.

How do I take payment for lessons?

List the price per session and how to pay in the intro, or send a payment link with your confirmation. Fillio doesn't process payments. Each session is ten lessons over two weeks, so show the full session price and what it works out to per lesson. Ask for payment within a few days of booking; with five places per session, an unpaid booking keeps another child out of the pool.
