Running camp registration
Open registration in March and send the link to last summer's families a week before you post it publicly. The first week of summer fills first.
Forty campers per week is four groups of ten with one counselor each. Change the places to your staff and space.
After-care days give you staffing per day, not just per week. If only six campers need Friday after-care, one counselor covers it.
Print the pick-up names for the sign-out table. Counselors check every name at 3 pm, and nobody leaves with someone who isn't on the list.
Sports camp registration questions
Can a family register two children?
Each reply is one camper, so each child has their own week and notes. Families send the form again for a sibling, which takes a minute. Each sibling takes their own place in the week, so a family should register both children at once, before the week fills. The same parent phone on two replies shows you which campers are siblings, which helps with group lists and sign-out.
Can a camper attend more than one week?
Yes. The family sends a reply per week, so every week's count stays exact. Or change the week question to a checkbox if you don't need a limit per week. Most camps keep one reply per week, because after-care days and pick-up people often change between weeks.
How do families pay for camp?
List the weekly price and after-care cost in the intro and send a payment link with your confirmation. Fillio doesn't process payments. Price after-care per day, since families tick only the days they need; a camper with Monday and Friday after-care pays for two. Check payments against the responses list before the packing list goes out a week before camp.
