How well do you know the couple quiz

A guessing game guests play on their phone; the couple reads the answers aloud.

What's inside

Six questions about the couple and a line of advice. Guests who think the couple met somewhere else type their own guess. Nothing is scored automatically; the answers arrive as a list the couple reads from at dinner.

Playing the couple quiz

Share the link during cocktail hour or put it on the tables as a QR code. Guests answer while they wait, and the answers are in before the speeches start.

Swap our questions for your own story. The best ones have a surprising answer the couple can explain in one sentence: who made the first move, the disaster on the first date, the thing they still argue about.

Keep it to six or seven questions, so it takes two minutes on a phone. Ask the couple for the true answers beforehand and keep them in your notes.

At dinner, read a question, reveal the answer and name the guests who got it right, plus the funniest wrong answer. It works the same at an engagement party or a bridal shower.

Couple quiz questions

Does the quiz score the answers?

No. Fillio collects the answers and the person reading them picks the winners. That keeps the game in the room, which is the point. Ask one friend to export the answers before dinner and mark the right ones with a pen; six short columns are quick to check. The years together question makes a good tiebreaker, since the closest guess wins.

Can guests play at the shower instead?

Yes. Change the title and the intro; the questions work for a shower, an engagement party or the rehearsal dinner. At a shower, swap one question for something the bride's friends know well, like her first car or her karaoke song. Duplicate the form if you play at more than one event, so each party keeps its own list of answers.

Can the couple play too?

They can, but most couples keep their answers secret until the reveal so the guests' guesses stay honest. One twist works well: each partner fills in the form alone the week before, without asking the other. Read their two replies after the guests' answers. The questions where the couple disagree with each other usually get the biggest laugh of the night.
