Getting the wedding party measured

Send the form four to six months before the wedding. Bridesmaid dresses often take three to four months to arrive, and alterations need a few weeks after that.

Ask the boutique how many people it fits at once and set the slots to that number. Ask for the size chart of the dress brand too, since brands cut differently and the dress size here is a starting point for the fitter.

Groomsmen renting suits often order from a shop near them. The out-of-town option keeps them on your list without a slot; check that their measurements arrive by your deadline.

The phone number is for the day-before reminder, the message that saves a missed fitting. Once sizes are in, plan the day itself with the wedding day helper sign-up.

Wedding party size questions

Can I add shoe size or height?

Yes. Add a question inside the bridesmaid or groomsman branch and it shows only to that role, like the sizes already there. Shoe size matters if you order matching shoes, and height helps the fitter set the hem on a long dress. Make it a short text answer rather than a list, since shoe sizes differ between US, UK and EU charts.

Do people see each other's sizes?

No. Replies go only to whoever saved the form. Nobody in the wedding party sees anyone else's answers. When you send sizes to the boutique or the suit shop, export the list and remove the phone column first, so each shop gets only the names and numbers it needs for the order.

What if more than four people want the same slot?

The slot shows as full once four people pick it, so the fifth person chooses another time. Change the number to match your boutique. If every slot fills and people are still waiting, ask the boutique for one more session and add it as a new option. You can edit the form after sharing, and earlier replies keep their slot.
