Running a fair giveaway
Put the deadline, the prize and the draw date in the intro, plus the words "no purchase necessary". Link your full rules from your bio or a pinned post, and keep the rules checkbox required.
A form entry beats comment entries. Each person enters once with an email, so you can contact the winner, and you never scroll 800 comments to pick one.
The fun question does two jobs: it filters out bots and gives you content. Read the best picnic spots out in your draw video.
To draw, export the replies as a CSV file, number the rows and pick a random number on camera. Add one row for each referral credit before you draw.

How do I pick a winner from the entries?
Export the replies as a CSV file and pick a random row number, ideally live so entrants can see it. Fillio does not draw for you, which keeps the draw in your hands and on your channel. Give the winner 48 hours to reply to your email, and draw a backup on camera at the same time in case they never answer.
Do I need to say no purchase necessary?
In many places a prize promotion that requires a purchase counts as a lottery, which is regulated. This template says no purchase necessary and asks for nothing paid. Check the rules where you and your entrants live. Instagram also asks you to state that the giveaway is not sponsored by Instagram, so add that line to your post and your rules.
Can I stop people entering twice?
The email field makes duplicates easy to spot. Sort the export by email before the draw and keep one entry per address, plus any referral credits. Sort by Instagram handle too, since some people enter twice with two emails. The intro already says one entry per person, which gives you a clear rule to point to when you remove extras.
