Game night RSVP

Guests reply with the game they bring, so you can plan tables by game length.

What's inside

Players who say yes name their game, its length and whether they will teach it; players who can't come answer one question.

Planning tables by game

Ask for replies two days before. Four players per table is the sweet spot for most games, so divide the yes count by four for your table count.

Game length sorts the evening. Open with the under-30-minute games while people arrive, then split into tables for the hour-long ones.

A game nobody can teach stays in the box. Seat each teacher at their own game's table and put the newcomers there.

Game night questions

Can a cafe or library use it?

Yes. Add a closing limit set to your seats, and the form stops taking replies when you are full. The game list helps you choose which shelf games to put out. Print a QR code for the counter, so regulars sign up for next month while they pay. Edit the intro too, since "snacks are on us" may not fit a cafe.

Can I ask about snacks too?

Yes. Add a question such as "Bringing a snack?" in the editor, inside the yes follow-ups so only players who come see it. A choice question with options like chips, sweets and drinks gives you counts instead of free text. Keep it optional, so players who come straight from work can still reply in ten seconds.

Can I run it every month?

Duplicate the form for each game night. Each copy keeps its own replies, so you can compare which games got played. Put the date in each copy's intro and share the new link a week ahead. The goodbye for players who can't come already says game night runs every month, so it stays true for every copy.
