Open mic sign-up sheet
Performers claim a ten-minute slot from their phone, and each slot takes one act.
What's inside
Each slot shows as taken the moment someone claims it, musicians are asked what gear they need, and the sheet closes after the eighth act.

Running the night from the list
Share the link two or three days before, and leave a printed QR code at the bar for walk-ins. Slots fill in order, so regulars who plan ahead get the early spots.
The gear answer saves the changeover. Set up the amp before the 8:20 musician instead of during their ten minutes.
Read the social handles out before each act. Performers come back to venues that send them new followers.
Open mic questions
Can I change the slot times?
Yes. Rename the options to your times and add or remove slots. Keep one place per slot, and set the closing limit to the number of slots. If you move to 15-minute slots, update the intro so performers know how long they get. Leave five minutes before the first act so the host can check the sound.
What happens when all slots are taken?
The form stops taking sign-ups and the link says it is closed. Keep a paper list at the bar for a waiting list, or open a second form for it. Expect one or two no-shows on most nights, so call the waiting list in order when a slot sits empty. You can reopen the form later if you add slots.
Can a duo or a band take one slot?
Yes. One sign-up holds one slot, whoever is in the act. The name field takes an act name as well as a person's name. A full band rarely fits a ten-minute slot with setup, so ask bands to bring a stripped-down set. If a duo needs two mics, the gear question catches it before the night.
