Talent show sign-up
Acts sign up with their type, stage needs and a clip, so you can build the running order.
What's inside
Acts that pick "Something else" describe what they will do, so a juggling unicyclist does not reach the stage as a surprise.

From sign-ups to a running order
Open sign-ups four weeks before auditions. Three minutes per act and 20 acts is a one-hour show before the interval and applause.
The stage needs list is your tech sheet. Group acts that need the piano together and put a quiet act between two bands to cover the changeover.
A clip lets you skip auditions for acts you have already seen and spend audition time on the ones you have not. Keep it optional so nobody is put off.
Mix the types when you build the order: open with a group, put the strongest act just before the interval and end on something the whole room can cheer.
Talent show sign-up questions
Can students sign up without an account?
Yes. Performers open the link and fill the form in the browser. Only you need an account to see the sign-ups. Put the link in the school newsletter and on a poster with a QR code by the office. Older students can sign up alone, while younger ones may need a parent to help with the clip.
Can I collect a parent's permission?
Add a required checkbox, such as "A parent or guardian agrees to this act performing", and a phone question for that parent. Both take a minute in the editor. To ask only younger performers, add an age question and show both only for the under-18 answer. Keep the parent numbers with you on show night in case an act needs to leave early.
How large can the clip be?
Ask for a short clip, under a minute. A phone video of a rehearsal tells you more than a polished one, and short files upload faster on school Wi-Fi. Each upload has a 10 MB limit, which is only a few seconds of high-quality phone video. Suggest the lowest video quality setting, or ask for a private video link by email.
