Virtual happy hour RSVP

Remote friends or teams RSVP, and a kit ships to everyone who says yes.

What's inside

People who are in choose a kit, give a shipping address and vote for the game; people who can't come answer one question and get their own end message.

An online happy hour people look forward to

Send the invite two weeks out. Kits need about a week to order and ship, so set the reply date ten days before the call.

A mocktail kit next to the cocktail one means nobody has to explain why they're not drinking.

Let people vote for the game. The winner gets played first, while energy is high; keep the second game short.

Keep it to 45 minutes. A happy hour that ends while people are still laughing gets a better turnout next time.

Virtual happy hour questions

Is it safe to collect home addresses for a work event?

Only the people who say yes are asked, and only to ship their kit. Share the addresses with your kit supplier and nobody else, and delete the replies after the event. Say in the intro what the address is for and who will see it. Colleagues who prefer not to share a home address can give an office or a pickup point.

Who pays for the kits?

Usually the team budget or the host. If guests chip in, say how much and how to pay in the intro. Fillio doesn't process payments. Before you order, count each kit type in the responses list, since cocktail, mocktail and snack choices rarely split evenly. Order two or three spare kits for late replies or a parcel that goes missing.

Can I skip the kits?

Yes. Delete the kit and address questions and keep the game vote. The form becomes a one-minute RSVP for a call. Without kits to ship, you can send the invite a few days ahead instead of two weeks. Ask people in the intro to bring their own drink, so the call still starts with a toast.
