Virtual summit registration

Attendees pick talks across both days, so you can remind them before each one.

What's inside

Attendees tick the talks they want to be reminded about and where they'll watch from; people from a brand also name it.

Running a free online summit

Talk choices tell you what your audience came for. If one talk gets twice the ticks of any other, give it the prime slot on Day 1.

Regions let you send reminders at a sensible time. A 6 pm talk in London is 1 pm in New York and 2 am in Sydney; Asia and Pacific attendees may want the replay instead.

Speakers grow your sign-ups. Give each one the link with a line to post, and ask them to share it in the last 48 hours.

Brand names in the replies are your sponsor list for next year. Thank them after the event and ask what they'd want from a sponsored talk.

Online summit questions

Does the form send talk reminders?

No. It gives you who wants which talk. Filter the replies by talk and send each reminder from your email tool 15 minutes before it starts. Export the replies the day before Day 1 and make one mailing list per talk. Each attendee then hears only about the sessions they chose, which keeps unsubscribes low across both days.

Can I add more talks later?

Yes. Add options to the talks question at any time. People who registered earlier won't have ticked them, so mention new talks in your next email. Start each new option with its day, like the existing talks, so the list stays in order. If a speaker cancels, email everyone who ticked that talk before you change the list.

Should a free summit ask for more than name and email?

Keep it to what you'll act on. Talks and region change your reminders; role tells you who is watching. Anything else lowers sign-ups without changing your plan. The template asks five things, and the brand question appears only for people who pick the brand option. If a sponsor wants job titles, ask in your follow-up email after the event.
