Teaching a cooking class on video

Diets shape the shopping list. If four of twenty cooks are vegan, send them a swap list, like oat butter and semolina pasta without egg, with the main one.

The level question tells you how fast to go. With mostly beginners, show the dough's texture on camera twice and pause for everyone to catch up.

Kits remove the shopping step, which is where most people drop out. Ship them by Wednesday so they arrive before the weekend.

Send the video link with the shopping list on Friday. People who have bought ingredients show up.

Online cooking class questions

How do I charge for the class or the kit?

Write the price in the intro or the kit option, as the template does, and send a payment link by email. Fillio doesn't process payments. Put a kit deadline in the intro, such as the Monday before class, so you order ingredients for the exact number and still ship by Wednesday. Ask for kit payment before you order.

Can I use it for a team cooking event?

Yes. Ship every kit to each colleague's home address and remove the price from the kit option if the company pays. Delete the shop option too, so everyone gets the same kit and the address question shows for all of them. Send the link two weeks ahead if colleagues live in several countries, since parcels take longer.

What if someone has an allergy that isn't listed?

Add an optional short question for allergies, or ask cooks to reply to your Friday email. Keep the diet options short so most people answer in one tap. For an egg allergy, which matters for fresh pasta, send that cook a swap with the shopping list. If they ordered a kit, pack and label their ingredients separately.
