Quick poll

A one-question poll the group answers in one tap, with an optional comment.

What's inside

Voters who pick "Something else" say what instead; everyone else is done in one tap.

  2. 2
What instead?Only if “Your vote” is Something else
  3. 3

  4. 4

Settling it in one link

Ask one question with three or four choices. More choices split the vote and nobody wins clearly.

Post the link in the group chat with a deadline, such as "votes close at 5". A deadline gets replies within the hour.

The pitch answers are the fun part. Read the best one out with the result, and the next poll gets more votes.

Quick poll questions

Can people vote without signing up?

Yes. They open the link and tap a choice. Only you need an account, to publish the form and see the results. Nobody installs an app, so even the friend who ignores group polls can vote straight from the chat. The name question is optional, for anyone who wants credit for the winning pick.

Can I see the results as they come in?

Yes. The responses page counts each choice as votes arrive. Share a screenshot with the group when the poll closes. Close the form in its settings at your deadline, so late votes can't change the winner after you announce it. Ideas typed under Something else show with each vote, so check them for a popular pick you didn't list.

Can I stop people voting twice?

Make the name question required and check for repeats in the responses. For a vote with real stakes, use the people's choice vote, which asks every voter's name. For a lunch vote among friends, trust usually works. If one choice wins by a single vote and someone objects, check the names before you place the order.
