Group trip planner

Friends vote on the place, dates and budget before anyone books.

What's inside

Friends who are in, or maybe in, vote on the place, tick every date that works, pick a budget and say how they'd room. Friends who are out get their own goodbye.

Getting a group trip from chat to booked

Send the link with a booking deadline in the intro. A date to vote by turns endless group chat ideas into a decision.

Dates are a checkbox on purpose. Pick the dates the most people ticked, not the place with the most votes, since a place nobody can make is no trip.

Read the budget answers before you pick the place. If half the group ticked under $500, Bali is out, whatever the votes say.

Once you've booked, send the trip rooming list for passport names, flights and roommates.

Group trip planner questions

Can friends who say maybe still vote?

Yes. Maybe sees every question, so their dates and budget count. A clear date often turns a maybe into a yes. Once you book, message the maybes first with the final dates and the price, and give them a few days to confirm. Friends who said no go straight to their own goodbye, so they never wade through the vote.

Can I add more places?

Yes. Add up to six or seven options. More than that splits the vote, so shortlist in the chat first. You can edit the choice names after sharing, and the vote carries on. If two places tie, duplicate the form, keep just those two and the winning dates, and give the group one day to vote again.

Does anyone see how others voted?

No. Replies go only to you. Share the totals in the group chat when the vote closes, which keeps the budget answers private. Post the winning place and dates, not who voted for what. Close the form on your booking day, so a late vote doesn't reopen a decision you have already paid for.
