Filling the room for a charity dinner
Send the RSVP eight weeks out and close it two weeks before, when the caterer wants final meal counts.
A guest who reserves three seats picks a dinner for each, so the kitchen gets exact numbers for short rib, salmon and risotto.
Table hosts give the name for their card, and you send them a short link to collect their own guests' meals.
Regrets are not lost money. A guest who can't come is offered a gift, and many choose one. Payment happens outside the form, through the link you send.
Gala RSVP questions
Can guests pay for tickets in the form?
No. The form takes the reply and the meal choices; you send the ticket payment link or invoice afterward. Fillio takes no payment and no fee from your tickets or gifts. Put the ticket price in the intro so guests know it before they reply. Ask for payment before the final meal count, so every plated dinner is paid for.
How do table hosts collect meals for their guests?
Duplicate this form, delete the table option and send the copy to the host. Each guest picks a seat and a dinner, and the replies sit in their own list. Give the host a deadline a few days before your own. Name each copy after its table, so you find every list quickly in your dashboard.
Can I collect auction items before the night?
Yes. Anyone can name an item, even guests who can't come. Follow up with each donor for photos and pickup before you print the catalog. The auction question is optional, so guests who have nothing to give skip it. Put a cut-off in the intro, about a month before the gala, so the catalog has time to come together.
