Turning pledges into gifts

Name one goal and one deadline in the intro. A roof that needs $18,000 before spring raises more than a general appeal.

Send the payment link within two days of each pledge. Pledges paid in the first week are far more likely to be paid at all.

The thanks question gives you a donor wall people agreed to. Anonymous givers stay off it, and nobody has to ask.

Pledge form questions

Can people pay in the form?

No, and there are no card fields. People pledge here, and you send a link from your bank, church giving page or payment app. Fillio takes no cut of donations. Many donors ask about tax receipts before they give, so use a giving platform that issues them, and say so in your email.

How do I track progress toward the goal?

Export the replies and sum the amounts, counting Another amount from its own column. Share the total in your next update to bring in the next round of pledges. Keep a second total for gifts actually paid, since some pledges never arrive. Reporting both numbers keeps your updates honest and shows what is still needed.

Can I set up monthly giving?

Pledgers who pick Every month are your recurring donors. Send them a recurring payment link from your giving platform, which handles the monthly charge. Report monthly pledges apart from one-time gifts when you add up the total. Thank monthly donors again after the first charge goes through, since early thanks keep them giving.
