Gender reveal RSVP

Every reply is also a guess. See the boy and girl count before the reveal.

What's inside

Making the guesses part of the party

Send the link two to three weeks before the reveal. Family far away can't come but can still guess, so share it beyond the guest list.

Count the guesses the night before and announce the score just before the reveal: thirteen for girl, nine for boy. It turns the moment into a result people were waiting for.

The how-sure question adds a second game. Five stars asks what they'd bet on it; read the bets out just before the reveal.

Name ideas are a gentle way for family to join in; keep them for fun, not as a vote. Planning the shower next? The baby shower RSVP has a birth date guessing game.

Gender reveal questions

Can people guess without coming?

Yes. The guess shows for everyone. Only the headcount depends on coming, so relatives in another city can vote from the same link. Their guesses count in the score like everyone else's. If you film the reveal, send those relatives the clip afterwards with the final tally, so they see whether they were right.

How do I count the votes?

Each reply shows the guess in its own column. Export the replies as a CSV file and count the boys and girls, or read them out one by one at the party. The how-sure stars have their own column too, so you can sort by five stars and read the boldest bets first. Close the form the night before, so no late guess changes the score you announce.

Can I add a third option?

Yes. Add “Twins” or “It's a surprise” to the guess question in your copy. Nothing else in the form depends on the answer. Keep it to three or four options, so the score stays easy to announce. If you already know it's twins, swap the options for Two boys, Two girls and One of each.
