Speed dating sign-up
Singles sign up for the right round, and each side caps itself so every round stays balanced.
What's inside
Each side of a round has 15 places and closes on its own when full; the queer round gets an end message with its own arrival time.

Keeping every round balanced
Post the link two to three weeks before. Put the age range, the round times and the price in the intro, so the right people sign up.
Balanced rounds make the night. With 15 places on each side of the straight round, nobody sits out a date while the other side waits.
Ask only for a first name and an email. Strangers feel safer signing up, and you share an email only when two people both want to meet again.
Icebreaker answers make good table cards. Print each guest's question next to their name tag, so the first seven minutes start easily.
Speed dating sign-up questions
How do I share matches?
Hand out a card at each table where guests tick who they'd like to see again. Afterwards, email both people only when the ticks are mutual, using the addresses from the sign-up. Send match emails within 24 hours, while the night is fresh. Write to each person separately, never as a group email.
Why no photos or last names?
Speed dating is about meeting in person. A first name and no photo make strangers comfortable signing up, and you hold less personal data. Name tags show the first name only, so guests decide what to share at the table. Say in the intro that emails go out only on a mutual match, which makes signing up feel safer still.
Can I limit the age range?
The age question accepts 18 and over. For a 25 to 35 night, set the question's minimum and maximum to 25 and 35. A guest outside the range can't send the form, so state the range in the intro as well. For a 35 to 45 night, duplicate the form and change the limits, and each night fills its own rounds.
